One of our primary concerns when working with clients is safety. We always ask about small children and even pets in the home before making any recomendations for specific products. If you have small children or pets in the home you really should take a walk around the home and see if your window treatments pose a potential risk. Look for cords that dangle close to the floor or near furniture that a child might climb on. Would it be possible for these cords to become wrapped around a childs neck? Is there a way to hook the cords up out of the reach of a child?

Use shutters to close off an open loft for design and safety

These shutters were installed in a bonus room over looking a new great room addition in a home in Rye, NH.
